Who I am
webSIGHTS is me — a freelance web designer and developer based on the South Coast of England. I use this site to showcase my own work and skills, and I'm happy to take on projects too. This policy explains what information this website collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, you can reach me any time through my contact page.

Cookies
This website doesn't use cookies. I don't set any cookies of my own, and I don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Because there are no non-essential cookies to agree to, you won't see a cookie consent banner — there's nothing to consent to.
Analytics
I use Umami, a privacy-first analytics tool, to understand roughly how many people visit the site and which pages are useful. It is cookieless and fully anonymised: it doesn't collect personal data, doesn't build a profile of you, and can't follow you across other websites. I only ever see aggregate figures — never anything that identifies an individual.
The contact form
If you fill in my contact form, I collect the details you choose to give me — your name, email address, and your message — for a single purpose: to read your enquiry and reply to it.
Your message is delivered to me by email through Resend, my email provider. I keep enquiries only as long as I need them to deal with your request and any follow-up conversation, and I never sell them or use them for marketing.
Third-party services
A few trusted services help this site run:
- Umami Cloud — cookieless, anonymised analytics, as described above.
- Resend — delivers contact-form enquiries to me by email.
- Google Fonts — supplies the site's fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the fonts from Google, so your IP address is shared with Google in order to serve them. No cookies are set in the process.
Your rights
You can ask me what personal data I hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Since the only personal data I hold is whatever you send through the contact form, just get in touch and I'll sort it out.
If you're in the UK or EU, you also have the right to complain to your data protection regulator — in the UK, that's the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will appear on this page, with a new "last updated" date shown above.
